Also avoid pouring boiling water in a cool cup or bowl. Preheat all cups and bowls with hot tap water before adding extremely hot water, tea or coffee. They are hand made, dense ceramic and they should be treated like glass.. 

Dishwasher, Microwave and oven safe to 450 degrees. Remember not to place any hand made clay in a pre-heated oven. Always  place pot and food in first and then heat.
