I just received the bamboo/red fox brush from you, and had a chance to try some mark-making with it tonight. I completely and utterly love it—it's so responsive, and the very fine tip allows for the thinnest of lines. I'm working in collage right now, and can't wait to use this for collage papers. Really amazing—thank you VERY much!

Fantastic mug! Have been enjoying my daily coffee and tea in this balanced mug. Handle fits my hand perfectly, which is really important to me. But I also have a fascination with copper glazes especially copper red. It is beautiful. It also came packed well with lots of info about Ron and his different types of work. A beautiful addition to my mug collection. Thank you. Handmade, porcelain mug copper red one of a kind cup 3 red.

Dear Ron, I have to take a moment and thank you so much for your excellent talent to make a beautiful brush that I can't wait to use. I'm in the middle of my throwing cycle so before long I'll be able to use them and I can hardly wait. I can just see those beautiful lines beginning to appear in my mind before I even hold one in my hand. Thanks again, very much! It's so much appreciated!! Terry

This is very nice! I love the combination of colors in the glaze work and the masterful refinement of detail behind the "rustic" / shabby chic disguise. The Chawan bowl size is not too large to fit in my hand.
Thank you Ron Mello for an "as pictured" purchase that was carefully packed and shipped quickly too.

Really nice workmanship, feels great in hand. You are an exceptional craftsman. Thank you for sharing your work. This was my first purchase from your wares. The bushes seem to carry forth a spirit and frankly blow away everything in I have in my pottery kit. I am so impressed. Thank You again.

"Hi Ron, Thank you for sending the bowl, so perfectly protected in its packaging. I was away for nearly a week and was able to open it just today. It knocked my socks off. Gorgeous! Way more beautiful than even the picture showed. I'm thrilled to have this piece of yours. You can be assured I will use it and enjoy the look and feel of it with real pleasure. All the information you included about your work is most interesting and a good lesson in self presentation. I just saw on your blog that you list Simon Leach's blog as one you recommend. Following him and his you tube videos is actually how I found you. A comment you made intrigued me and made me want to see who you are and what you do. I'm glad I followed that trail. Again, thanks and best wishes"       Linda Skipper

Hey Ron,
Received the pot yesterday and it is beautiful. Hope to get the plant in it this evening and will send you some pictures. I grow cactus and succulents along with xeric tree species like Bursera and Commiphoras. While not true bonsai, many are considered natural bonsai forms and staged in bonsai style. bonsai 55 and bonsai 103

Thank

"Hi Ron, I just wanted to let you know that I received your brushes yesterday.  They are even more beautiful than they looked in the picture.  A friend of mine says "you have to make art WITH art".  Your art will definitely help me with my art. Thank you"     Jen Drysdale

"Hi Ron, The brush arrived yesterday - much faster than I thought it would. It is a thing of beauty, to be sure. I'm in the midst of preparing for a move, but can't wait to try it out. I am certain that I will be ordering more. I'd really like a good small detail brush as well. If you have one to recommend, that would be great. Also - I really like your Raku work. I'm a big fan of beautiful Raku."    Barb Howe

Artist Nguyen Dong creates some of his paintings with Ron Mello Brushes

"Ron Mello’s custom brushes are wonderful to use.  The moose hair is resilient and they remain intact like a high quality brush should.  I’ve been using them for my ink paintings for over a year.  The handles and fittings are hardy and have an understated aesthetic.  The belly of the brush holds a substantial amount of ink that is great long gestural lines.  When used for dry brush technique, the textures look beautifully organic and alive.  I look forward to using these for many more years into the future.  Thank you for doing such a great job Ron!"

"re: b-B168-Kintugi. I absolutely loved the photo of this piece on your website.  It's much better in person,  I love it.  It's beautiful on it's own, and I love the symbolic beauty as well.  My 19-yr-old daughter was home from college when it arrived and she fell in love with it too."     Mike Kolsky
